An internal move is one where the piano is moved from one location at an address to another location at the same address. (i.e. - from the garage to the living room, or from dining room to family room, etc.). Disassembly is required for uprights only if your piano is going up or down a flight of steps with turns. This will also require an extra crew member for an additional charge. If the move must be done without a skid, extra charges will apply. If you are not sure, check yes, and I will confirm with you before move is booked. Your grand is a specialty grand piano if it's replacement value is $100,000 or more. Basic insured value of the move is determined by the weight of the piano ($2.00 for every pound) which is determined by the height (for an upright), or length (for a grand). If basic insurance is insufficient and extra insurance is required, additional charges will apply. This will be discussed at time move is booked. If storage is required, you will be billed for each month or part thereof that piano is stored. For example June 1 to July 2 would be 2 months. The storage area is heated, but is NOT insured. You must make arrangements for this through your own house insurance company. Payment for all booked moves must be made up front by certified cheque, cash or credit card.
