![]() Piano TuningPiano tuning is quite simply the adjustment of the tension of the approximately 200 strings in a piano. The tuning pins on a piano are adjusted with a tuning "hammer". The pins are turned so that all of the notes of the piano are the same musical distance apart. If there is more than one string for a note, each one must be tuned to precisely the same frequency, or be in unison. |
